Direct answer

How are shipping and delivery handled for a component order?

Shipping terms are defined in the written quote for the specific source and destination. The quote should state the offered packaging, shipment origin when available, carrier or service assumption, freight treatment, customs or duty responsibility, and whether partial shipments are allowed. A lead-time estimate is not a delivery guarantee.

Packaging belongs to the offer

Cut tape, full reel, tray, tube, and manufacturer-sealed packaging can carry different minimums, increments, handling needs, and prices. Packaging should be confirmed before the buyer approves the quote.

Delivery estimates need context

A supportable estimate identifies the source, quantity, evidence time, handling assumption, and shipping destination. Supplier processing, export controls, customs, carrier performance, and buyer-requested inspection can change the final schedule.

  • Requested delivery date and ship-to country
  • Origin and service level when known
  • Freight, tax, duty, and customs responsibility
  • Partial-shipment permission
  • Inspection, relabeling, or repacking requirements

What happens before fulfillment

Max Semiconductors is currently operating an RFQ-first workflow. No public product page creates a shipping commitment. Commercial and fulfillment terms become actionable only through the applicable written quote and later order documents.

Frequently asked questions

Does the website guarantee a delivery date?
No. Delivery timing is specific to the sourced option, order timing, destination, and logistics conditions and must be confirmed in writing.
Can I require a full manufacturer reel?
Yes. State that requirement in the RFQ. It may change the minimum quantity, unit price, and available sources.
Can an order be split into partial shipments?
It can be requested. The quote should state whether the source supports it and how freight and schedule are affected.
